Unlike wax, our ceramic coating has a self-cleaning ability that unquestionably keeps your vehicle cleaner, longer. Additionally, it keeps your paint extremely glossy and helps prevent swirl marks. Yes! A ceramic coating is definitely good for your car, as it provides a hard sacrificial barrier to your vehicle’s clear coat, as well as high gloss, intense shine, and hydrophobic properties. However, you should never DIY a ceramic coating, since it requires a fairly skilled professional to apply properly.
Maintenance is the key part to any successful ceramic coating. If the vehicle is not properly maintained the ceramic coating will stay intact, but you will not be content with the way your vehicle looks as it will not have that high gloss, intense shine, and hydrophobic properties like the day you picked it up from your detailer. With that said, ceramic coated vehicles should be washed at least once a month using proper washing techniques.
